Getting back into rFactor (HistorX)
G'day all,
It's been a long time since I've been part of any type of Sim racing. A good few years ago (2009?) I had rfactor and the histroX mod and raced with a group of people on Wednesday evenings (From the Australian side of the Datsun Z club)
Loved pushing the Mini and Cortina around. I had a terrible setup with a late 90's joystick and keyboard, but had a blast every single race. Highest I placed was 4th and it felt GREAT.
I've since moved OS, (USA, DC) and after a long while, built...

rFactor Compatibility Issues
Greetings,
I forgot when was the last time I run rFactor. Probably it was back in 2013.
Since then got 1070ti, Dell Ultrawide, Windows 10 etc etc and all of which might have been the reason for my troubles now that I cannot lunch the game. All that it shows is the loading screen and takes me back to the desktop.It clearly says the program is not compatible but I am quite sure the troubleshooter did almost everything and every scenario but the game just won't start.
Anyone for a solution...

rFactor with a gamepad.
Hey guys,
After several years, I´ve reinstalled rFactor 1 on an old machine so it is played by a kid with a
gamepad (he can not master a wheel and its pedals yet), and I need your help on a small
subjet.
The gamepad is not as smooth as it could be, it´s jerky. I´ve set up the 'Digital Steering Rate'
at its minimum, 10%, and its 'Speed Sensivity' at the minimum too, 0%, but the movement
of the wheel is still a bit jerky. How could I configure it so it is smooth? Is there a way to
achive...

Is rFactor central down?? I mean, since one month it dont let me download skins and dont appear the previews of the skins. Someone know if is my problem or if this will be something temporal?

rFactor Track shaking
So I'm playing rFactor 1.255g non Steam version and half of the tracks I've downloaded have the cars shaking violently on the starting grid and revving but not moving at all, which means I can't race. Is there a reason for that? If so, how can I fix it?

How use Cubemaps
Hello! I can’t use Cubemaps for the CTDP 2006 mod, I do everything according to the instructions ( I rename the file and paste it into the folder with the MAS file CTDP06.MAS ) but there are no changes( I use DX9 and in game use full settings,maybe I'm doing something wrong =( Can someone help please and will write in steps What and where to insert? Thanks!
